Q.1: We are sending our kid for the first time for residential camp we are very scared about my kid?

Answer: We are conducting this programme successfully since 2008 and we have a team of experienced employees who are ready for the care and service of your kid. They will be caring and following your child round the clock.

Q.2: How many employees participating in this Camp and what About the Teachers and Coaching Team?

Answer: We have a team of 80-100(may increase according to the strength of students) well experienced employees working for the well being of the participants of the camp. Our teachers and trainers are experts in their respective fields. We will be having one in charge for a group of 10-15 students, along with laundry staff, cleaning staff, cooking staff, medical team, adventure task team, security, volunteers, management staff etc.

Q.3: Is it mandatory that children participate in each and every activity or can we choose some activities?

Answer: This is a program designed for all kids for developing good skills of team work, cooperation, positive attitude, relaxing and at the same time developing specific inborn talents. Individual choosing of the activities will affect the discipline of the scheduled program and also it will not develop team spirit among the children. So it is mandatory that every child should participate in each and every activity.

Q.4 My kid is very sensitive and I think he will not be able to stay for more duration. If he wants to come back what we will do?

Answer:This is the right platform for changing the attitude of such kids, because here we are working according to a planned schedule which will never let your child feel lonely. Our employees and their campmates will be always following and caring them so that by the end of these 3 weeks they will be able to adjust with any such teamwork program. At the same time as parents you should also give them a positive approach. Every now and then calling and disturbing them with your anxiety will disturb their involvement in the activities and thereby affect the mental involvement of the kid. We want their mental & spiritual presence also for training them in our way.

Q.5 Sometimes children will fight each other, how will you handle that?

Answer: As we discussed earlier, our employees will be closely observing your kids and stay for full day with them. They are experienced to find out at what part of the schedule there are chances of such situations and when they can give special attention to such kids and avoid fighting. Also we will find out children having such mentality and give them special care and change their attitude through a psychological approach.

Q.6 How about injuries. Did summer camp participants get injured earlier?

Answer: We have a good team of expert trainers/coaches but despite of that some situations can happen in any such camps. One such incident happened in our 2013 camp also, one kid accidentally fell from the horse while riding and fractured his hand. But immediately we arranged medical attention and from then onwards we kept separate team of staff for medical attention and give first aid. Also we have doctors and medical personals in the organizing committee.

Q.7 how many teachers are there? What’s the ratio and how is safety of every child is ensured?

Answer: Overall we have a committed professional staff of 50 members. Training will be given as a group of 20 students but there will be an In-charge for a group of 15 students who will be always with them and adventure tasks will be performed only by the supervision of expert team.

Q.8 Can we get some references of parents of kids who have attended the camp in previous years for feedback?

Answer: Due to privacy issue, since 2008 the organization has taken a decision to keep the personal data of the participants secretly. Q.9 What’s the typical vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner? Want to ensure food is not over spicy, etc and there is any risk to the stomach?

Answer: Actually kriya yoga samsthan is an organization which gives prime importance to health and the organizing committee of the camp is a panel of doctors of various disciplines. We have decided to provide only healthy food for the students. We have a team of kitchen staff which includes north Indian and south Indian chefs.

Q.10 For swimming, if the child does not know swimming, will the instructor teach?

Answer: We have good and expert trainers in swimming in our team they are capable of teaching pupils who don’t know swimming. And the pool we are using is having depth varying from 2 feet to 5 feet. And students who know swimming will only be allowed in deeper places. For others we give training in shallow places.

Q.11 We would like to stay in touch with our child in terms of calls and visits .how will that be possible?

Answer: Any time you can contact your child but, your presence in the camp will be a disturbance to the ambience which we are creating in the camp premises. your calls also will create negative vibration which will make them homesick. So it is better to fix a time in the evening hours to talk with your child every fortnight. Any time you can contact the Incharge to enquire about your child.

Q.12 How will you ensure the security/safety for such a large number of students while taking them for picnic?

Answer: We have a team of well experienced teachers who are taking care of the students while taking them for long trips. And along with them the Incharge will be available throughout the day. Separate female and male staffs are available for looking after the kids. We are providing 1:10 ratio staffs to take care of kids.

Q.13 If I join my kids in summer camp if they didn’t participate and they want to come back home, will your Organization return the Payment?

Answer: First of all we request you to take off these types of negative thoughts from your mind and don’t give such inputs to your kid. Our organization is conducting this camp with a intension of making the youth aware of the natural systems and learn healthy habits which were followed in our country since vedic period. And we have only limited admissions, so if you book and discontinue you are spoiling the opportunity of another child. Booking, preparations including staffs will be arranged accordingly. So we will not refund the payments.

Q.14 How many activities, can my children learn at end of the 3 weeks camp?

Answer: The activities which we are training is given in the website like rifle shooting, horse riding, swimming, games, drawing etc. But it is not that your kid will be perfect in all these at the end of the camp. For example, a seven year old kid can’t learn horse riding perfectly within this 3 week camp, but he will be knowing the basics of it and if interested he will definitely go for the training after that. we are exploring the skills and interests a kid is having and helping them to experience and develop those skills and thereby creating a successful next generation by unearthing hidden talent.

Q.15 Is individual attention taken on each and every student till the end of the camp?

Answer: There will be an In-charge for a group of 15 students who will be always observing them and reporting their behavioral study to the organizers. The management will observe the behavior of all students with hawk eye and appropriate moral support is given to the needy.

Q.16 I am sending my child alone if he feels home sick, what can we do? Can we take back to home?

Answer: As discussed earlier joining in Residential Summer camp is the right thing to overcome homesickness of your child. He/she will be taken care of our employees who will make them feel at home. Gradually he will be able to stay independently. Joining in Residential Summer Camp will Combat Home Sickness.

Q.17 My child Food habits are bad and not eating anything at home. We are forcefully giving food for him while going to school. He brings back lunch box to home and i am afraid he will not eat at the camp. Who will take care of him? Please give me clarification.

Answer: Our employees are experienced in such situation and they can handle such kids. What you have to do is to mention this thing while submitting the application form so that we can make group of such kids and give them special care. Once they get accomplished with the activities and schedule they will eat themselves in future.

Q.18 We are residents of other state and my children cannot take Andhra food. Can u arrange any different food for my kids? Please give feedback.

Answer: The food we are providing will be tasty & healthy and which most of the participants are used to it... At the same time we have north Indian and south Indian cooks who can cook food accordingly. If any difficulty is there we can make modifications in the menu according to their choice (only pure vegetarian).

Q.19 My daughter is aged 15 years. Is she safe at your camp and how do you handle this age group.

Answer: We have separate accommodation for boys and girls with good safety and security. Female care takers will be available with them every time. Also she can approach female warden for any personal needs.

Q.20 You have mentioned 7 years as Minimum age group in your website. How many kids of the same age group are participating every year? How can you take care of this age group?

Answer: Every year we are having 25-30 numbers of students in age group 7&8years. For such kids we will separate the group and organize appropriate activities and training is infused with atmost care.

Q.21 We read total details about camp. Everything is ok but morning Slokas, Vedic Havan and chanting mantras, Indian culture etc. We belong to other religion and my kids can’t learn the above said. Is it compulsory for everyone?

Answer: Firstly our organization is not a religious organization; our intention is to teach the Indian culture to the kids who are the future citizens of India. Chanting mantras and Vedic havan are the practices which even foreign people want to learn and many schools abroad are following. These practices were followed by our ancestor for positive vibrations, Positive energy, healthy atmosphere, killing micro organisms in the surroundings, etc. If we can see it through a broad mind only we can accept the science behind that. Likewise we need to train the kids also.

Q.22 What about rest rooms. It’s clean or not? Last time my kid joined other summer camp and he returned to home within 2 days complaining about dirty toilets. How about your camp?

Answer: The 20th Residential summer Camp is destined at Leonia Holistic Destination known for its international standards. The Rest Rooms in the AC Dormitories and Cottages are ultra clean, Hygienic, well maintained by In house cleaning staffs and under supervision of our In-charge to look after the cleanliness of the total camp premises. Q.23 Many trainers / coaches are unfriendly and using rough language etc. All participants may not co-operate with coaches. There are chances of the above said thing to happen so what is the situation in your camp?

Answer: We have given instruction to our team regarding this and they are trained in such a way that they can handle such situations smoothly and effectively as they are professional and highly experienced. More over we do not entertain or allow any such misbehavior from the staff member. The management staff will be coordinating and controlling all the other departments and if any such behavior is noticed we will replace that staff member. Students also can complain to the management in case of any such issues.
